About Ashvale couleE Designs
Hey everyone!
My name is Brittney, owner of Ashvale Coulee Designs. In September of 2017, I took a leap of faith in pursuit of my dream, making Antler Jewelry.
My family & I live in Big Creek, British Columbia, Canada. We bought our dream ranch just south of Big Creek in the summer of 2022.
Be sure to follow along on Instagram for our new adventures! Or follow our ranching page on IG as well, that handle is - boxsranch
I am a ranch wife, my husband & I have been married for 13 years and have been together for 17 years! I am also a mother to 2 wild little gals! We raise a mixture of Black & Red Angus & Simmental cross cattle as well as Speckle Park! We have several horses & 3 Border Collies named Bell, Shy & Rosie!
I love spending time in the outdoors, wildlife watching, looking for Bighorn Sheep, hunting, fishing, light to moderate hiking (so out of shape haha), exploring with my girls and horseback riding.
Other than making Antler Jewelry, a few other things I enjoy doing are, wildlife & nature photography, re-purposing furniture and spending time with all of my cows.
Anyways, that’s a little bit about me! I look forward to showing you my new work and I hope to make your unique piece of jewelry in the future!
The story behind how Ashvale Coulee Designs came to be!
When I was trying to come up with my business name, which is no easy task, there is a coulee that I grew up near by called Tennessee Coulee. I really was liking it, so I mentioned it to my husband, he says to me “why would you call your business that when we have Ashvale Coulee running right through our property!” I honest to god had never realized that it went through our place! Ashvale Coulee runs about 6 miles north (as the crow flies) from our place and there is a gravel road that runs along side the coulee called Ashvale Road.
